Parental note #1: never give your child a dinner involving spaghetti sauce when they are tired prone to wiping their eyes.

Parental note #2: plastic high chairs are way easier to clean than babies. (after 15 min in the tub and lots of soap she still had an orange tinge to her face)

P.S. this boy is going to AFRICA in April!!!

Nate is going with two professors and two other students to do some research. He just got his passport, plane tickets, and a few vaccinations. Anyplace where you have to get the shot for yellow fever, polio, typhoid, and meningitis makes me a little nervous though (The nurse said he should get a treat for being so good during the shots...let's just say its a good thing I have the babies in this family). After we fly to a conference in San Francisco (where Nathan is presenting a poster and while the rest of the fam hangs out in the hotel), Kendyl and I will fly to CA while he comes back to school to finish finals and then flies across the world. All in all we'll be away from each other for almost 3 whole weeks. :-( Whew....crazy month.

Also next weekend we'll drive to Denver to look for housing! WOO-HOO!
